Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Arpana Consulting LLC (“Arpana,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use arpana.io (the “Site”) or contact us about our services.

This page is a draft prepared for counsel review. It is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

Arpana Consulting LLC is a Wyoming limited liability company. We provide Odoo ERP implementation and related consulting for growing businesses, especially in retail and manufacturing.

Contact: contact@arpana.io

Website: https://arpana.io

2. Scope

This policy covers:

  • The marketing website at arpana.io
  • Contact, diagnosis, and inquiry forms on the Site
  • Scheduling links we provide for discovery calls
  • Email we exchange with you about those inquiries

It does not cover third-party sites we link to (for example Odoo.com or a calendar provider). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

When you contact us or request a diagnosis, you may share:

  • Name and email address
  • Company name and basic firmographics (industry and company size)
  • Odoo modules you select on a form
  • Message content and project context
  • Any files or details you choose to send by form or email

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, hosting may record standard server logs. Those logs can include:

  • IP address
  • Browser and device type
  • Pages requested and the referring URL

The Site is hosted on Vercel. We do not currently load a third-party analytics or advertising product, and we do not collect precise GPS location.

Cookies and similar technologies

The Site stores your language preference (English, French, or Spanish) in your browser’s local storage under the key arpana.lang. That value only remembers the language you chose. On the first page of a browser tab, the Site stores that page path in session storage under the key arpana.entryPage. If you submit the contact form in that tab, we include the path in the email we send ourselves so we know which page the visit started on (for example the homepage, the FAQ, a solution page, or a case study). It does not change what the homepage shows, and it ends when the tab session ends. We do not set analytics or marketing cookies.

You can clear site data in your browser. If you remove that language preference, the Site returns to English until you choose another language. Blocking storage may limit the language toggle, and a contact form sent from that browser would not include the entry-page path.

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls
  • Prepare preliminary Odoo recommendations and proposals
  • Operate, secure, and improve the Site
  • Prevent spam, abuse, and fraud
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Legal bases

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on legitimate interests to respond to business inquiries, operate the Site, and keep it secure. Where a non-essential cookie or similar technology requires consent, we will ask for it before using it. Counsel should refine these bases before the company relies on them.

6. When we share information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business. Today that is hosting (Vercel) and email delivery for the contact form (Resend). If we use a scheduling tool for a discovery call, that provider would receive only what is needed to book it. These providers are under obligations to protect your data.
  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, or security
  • A buyer or successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset transfer

We do not share your inquiry details with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

7. Retention

We keep inquiry and project-related communications as long as needed for the relationship, legitimate business records, dispute resolution, and legal requirements. When retention is no longer necessary, we delete or anonymize the data where feasible.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email contact@arpana.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails (service and transactional messages may still be sent when needed).

10. International visitors

We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

11. Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
